About Peaceful Passings
Meet Dr. Clay Allen
Hello! I am a proud third generation Atlanta native. I grew up in Sandy Springs where I attended Riverwood High School. I pursued my undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia where I was also a member of the Chi Phi Fraternity. I later returned to UGA’s College of Veterinary Medicine where I enjoyed some of the best veterinary training in the country. I am a bona fide Georgia Bulldog through and through!
After college I met my wonderful wife, Lisa. Together we have three children and are fortunate to have all living and working right here in Atlanta. In case you were wondering…no veterinarians. Our daughter, Tyler, is working in fashion and our two sons, Spencer and Neal, are in computer programming and accounting respectively.
When we are not busy with our day-to-day lives, we are fond of getting together at our Highlands, North Carolina home where we enjoy telling tall tales, hiking the surrounding mountains, sliding down waterfalls, and smoking meats on the grill. Our dog, Zeus, especially likes to hang around the grill waiting for any fallen morsels! I also enjoy touring the southeastern mountains on my motorcycles (I am a fan of Triumph’s) and traveling to distant destinations with my wife.
